SPEECHLESS

Speechless

Note: not part of the series 'Pokemon: The Love Story'. This does contain a bit of the coolest

game: Final Fantsy VIII

Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu continue on their Pokemon journey. It was a bright a sunny

day. The Wind blew softly through the trees, whispering in the travellers' ears. The earth

tingled with power and playfulness. They finally reached the city of Hera. This was a small town

having a few hotels but a great beach area. They finally reached the beach after placing a room

reservation and put away all their stuff. But, somehow they met up with three familiar people.

"Hey there little sis," a familiar voice called.

"Yeah, like, aloha," another old aquaitnance called.

"Like, ditto," a final voice announced.

The three that called were Violet, Daisy, and Lily, the sisters of Cerualean City. Misty and

the gang ran up to greet them. Brock, however, decided to drool on them.

"Get this weirdo off of me," Violet announced. Then, she slapped him so hard, he flew into

the air. Misty sort of giggled at Brock's stupidness. She turned to her right, Ash was not

there. She had found out that he was going inside with Pikachu. Misty didn't really want to

follow him, but she did. But her sister, Lily, held her back.

"Ooh, Misty, you've got the hots for Ash?" Lily asked immaturely.

"NO WAY!!! I would never ever like that...... boy," she ended with a calm reaction.

"Sis, cool down. I'm no squeeler and besides, I think he's sort of right for you," Lily

giggled. Misty decided to keep quiet. She like the way that Lily was the only 'sisterly' sister

she had. Lily was the kind and intelligent one. Violet the most beautiful, and Daisy the most

well dressed. Lily was probably Misty's favorite sister. Lily knew all of Misty's dreams and

secrets. The two sat at some beach chairs.

"You want to talk about him?" Lily asked.

"Well, he can be annoying at times. He exaggerates. He a wild imagination. He way too hyper.

He thinks of no one but himself. And he's cute that way," Misty ended.

"And you like all this?" Lily asked confused.

"Yeah well, he's that sort of friend that never gives up. The kind of person who stands by

his friends. He tries to protect all living things that have feelings. Plus, he has a cool

Pokemon," Misty rambled.

"So then, why don't you tell him that you, like, like him?" Lily blanked.

"That's almost impossible for me. In fact, it IS impossible. He would probably just not

listen. Ash is that kind of person who wouldn't really listen unless it involves Pokemon or his

friends," Misty went on.

"Well, tell him as his friend, not just another girl," Lily told her, then she walked inside

the hotel to probably go soak in the spa. Misty decided to go for a realxing swim near the

shore. Only, the one thing that she didn't notice is that Pikachu was listening to the entire

converstion under Misty's chair. Pikachu ran inside being careful not to run into anything

bigger that a foot high.

* * * * * * *

"Really?!" Ash exclaimed.

"Pika Pika? [Would I ever lie?]" Pikachu responded.

"Wow, great. So Misty does like me. Now I have to tell her," he finished the last sentence

with a sigh.

"Pika Pi Pikachu? Pi Pikachu [Why dont we see Lily? She's at the spa]" Pikachu advised.

Ash nodded his head and ran downstairs.

Lily listened to the whole story of Pikachu and wondered at how loyal Pikachu was to Ash.

"Well, the way I see it, talk to Misty during a special time. I know, talk to her at the

special dance thing in a few days," Lily suggested.

"What if I can't dance," Ash said depressingly.

"Okay. Then, come to my room tonight and I'll teach you everything you need to know about

dancing. Ask her out first Ash. She might like to know that you are asking her out. I get the

feeling that you don't k even know how to ask people out."

Ash nodded.

"Okay, here it goes..." Lily went on with teaching Ash. Last night they practiced for three

hours. This morning was no different.

Misty lay on the beach chairs outside the hotel. She was reading a book she had picked up in

the lobby.

"Misty, like, hey. It's, like, a nice day isn't it," Violet said cheerfully.

"What?" Misty questioning Violet's presence.

"Well, I'd like you to meet, David Valiant, your old... Friend," Violet introduced Misty to

David.

"DAVID!! It's so great to see you," Misty announced excitedly.

"You don't look so bad yourself," David complimented.

The two, however, did not see a certain person at the door, "Pikachu get out of the way,"

Ash scolded.

"Pika pikachu [i wanna see too]" Pikachu squirmed.

"Pikachu, go over there and listen to what they are saying," Ash commanded.

"Piiiiiiiika! [cooooool!]" Pikachu exclaimed.

Misty introduced Pikachu to David. The two started to walk to the building. Ash started to

panic. "Pikachu! Where are you!" Ash shouted.

"Pikachu pika pi [down here dude, look down]" Pikachu joked.

"David this is Ash my ..um.. friend," Misty sttuttered.

"Hi, Ketchum from Pallet town," Ash introduced himself. David and Misty walked inside

together.

"Don't they look so cute, Ash," Violet said, but by then, he left. By now, he had all about

forgotten the dance.

Ash paced in his room. Ash tried to think of a way to tell Misty he cared about her before

he lost her to that freak David. He thought for a long time. Then he suddenly remembered, the

dance. He had to ask her tonight. Misty was walking down the hall with David. Ash walked up to

them.

"Misty, could I talk to you alone, please?" Ash asked kindly. Misty nodded her head to David

who was heading to his room.

"Misty, you know that there is a dance tomorrow right?" Ash asked her.

"Ash Ketchum, are you asking me out!!!?" Misty said excitedly.

"Um.. n-no of course not. Well, yeah," Ash breathed slowly.

"Well, Ash, David already asked me out. But I promise, some other time,"

Ash said nothing and walked into his room.

* * * * * * *

"Ash, where were you last night? I waited forever," Lily scolded.

"David already asked her to the dance," Ash said disappointed. They were sitting in his

room.

"Why don't you dance with me then, I have no one to go with," Lily tried to help.

"Okay," Ash agreed.

Lily left the room only to wait outside the door. She, like Misty, thought that Ash was also

sort of cute. She liked his smile. He was especially nice to her, too. She enjoyed being with

him. She was just four years older than he was. Age didn't matter, right? Just as long as you

care for that person. Maybe, she could even be part of Ash's group. She went back to her own

room.

That night, they all met at the dance floor on the roof level of the hotel. Misty with

David, Lily with Ash, and, surprisingly, the nurse Joy of the city was with Brock (a.k.a. Da'

Rock). Misty didn't know what she was doing that night. David could probably be just another

dumb guy, it was at least better than being with Ash. She quit thinking and continued to focus

on the night. The next song came on and Misty and David decided to dance. The slow song got Lily

going she wanted to ask Ash to dance.

"Let's dance, Ash," Lily told him.

Ash accepted the offer because he talked to Lily an hour before the dance. They started to

dance really well. When they finally ended the song, Lily felt great. Ash, though, wasn't; he

went out onto the balcony outside. He watched Misty and David dance the night away then finally

notice Lily in her sleek dress walking over to him.

"Ash, what's wrong?" Lily asked. Ash paused.

"Just, how could she go out with that, idiot over me?" Ash screamed.

"Ash, you can't change her mind. That was her decision. Sometimes you can't change that. She

may want to be with him just for tonight," Lily explained.

Ash nodded and went over to the table to think.

[for all you Final Fantasy VIII people, the love theme to that game, Eyes On Me, is being played

now, get the picture]

That night, Ash went over to Misty's room after the dance. He wanted to talk to her so

badly. He knocked on her door, he began to think hard.

"Hold on, let me finish changing," Misty announced. She then opened the door.

"Ash," Misty said. "What are you donig here?" She asked.

"I, came to talk to you," Misty began to wonder.

"Misty Kasumi Waterflower," Ash began, saying her full name for the first time,"I......CAN"T

UNDERSTAND WHY YOU WOULD GO OUT WITH AN IDIOT LIKE DAVID!!!!!!" Ash screamed.

"Ash, well maybe because I LIKE him other than you!" Misty told him.

"Well, I'm leaving here today Misty," Ash's voice calmed.

"What? Why?" Misty asked also calming down.

"You like it better with David. He's got more than I do. Besides, Lily told me he was

heading to Cerulean tommorrow and so were your sisters. You should go with them," Ash advised.

"Ash, I care about you. If I hurt you, let me know," Misty told him.

"You're happier with David. I can't change that. You need to follow your heart and be happy

everyday. That's what I want you to be. All we ever did was argue and fight. I thought it

brought us closer together. Then, it completely tore us apart into two seperate people, not

closer friends. Misty, if you're going to hate the descision I make today, I want you to tell

me," Ash said as he walked to the door where Pikachu was looking down next to Ash's bag. Misty

said nothing on his way out. She couldn't. She had to much fear in heart. She wanted so much to

stop him, but her heart said no. She couldn't let go of Ash, or David. She watched Ash enter the

elevator, he never looked back. They never said......... Good-bye.

Epilogue

Two Months Later

Misty sat in her room staring at the ceiling. She never saw that boy ever again. She never

saw David again. She felt pain inside of her. She wanted to feel a warm glance look her in the

eyes. She wanted a young person to be there for her to comfort her. She had no more dignity

left. She had pain in her heart. She held back her tears. She wanted to be close to someone to

feel his heart beating fast. She wanted to see face as if it were never hurt, as if it were

never down. She wanted to share his pain, his tears, and his love if he has enough. She dreamed

to have one birthday with Ash. Then she heard a doorbell, the door unlocked and the one at the

door was welcomed by Misty's sister. The door to her room opened and there, in the doorway, was

Ash Ketchum.

~~Pika's Prints~~

Finally a good ending. Gee, it's amazing that I could do this even when I was sick at home.

Hey, maybe I should be sick tommorrow. But, I'll have homework again people, so don't count on

the next story coming soon. I hope you liked the Final Fantasy VIII addition. Pika Pika to all

and all a good night, oops, wrong line. How about Pika Claus, that's nice I just need a red suit

and some more room to have lightbulbs and milk.....
