TEAM ROCKET'S FINAL SHOWDOWN Final

The Forbidden Cave…

Ash and friends wander through the cave. “Do you know where we're going?” asked Misty. Ash just pressed on. Suddenly,

the group entered a huge cavern with an open roof. Just then, the room went dark. “What's happening?” panicked Christine.

“He's here!” declared Ash. Then, the darkness lifted enough to allow the four to see the silhouette of something in the shadows.

“Welcome to my world.” It bellowed. “Who are you?” demanded Ash. “Why, I'm the one you've been searching for.” It said

sounding a bit surprised that Ash didn't know. “You've come to learn ultimate power. It is time to begin.” Then, the light was

fully restored. “Dexter, do your thing.” Said Ash, pointing his Pokedex at the creature. “Mewtwo, a psychic Pokemon. This

Pokemon was synthetically created in a lab and was designed to be the ultimate fighting machine. Approach with extreme

caution.” Dexter chimed. “I don't need to be instructed by the likes of you!” challenged Ash. Then, Ash clapped his hands

together and pointed his palms at Mewtwo. Ash sent out a huge flare of psychic power. Just as easily, Mewtwo blocked it.

“Very powerful, but you lack structure.” Mocked Mewtwo. “Only one other student was nearly powerful.” With that, Mewtwo

disappeared. “I know your past.” The group heard him say. “My life is full of pain. Time to share some of it.” A flash lit up the

room.

Ash found himself soaked and lying on the ground. Misty stood over him, looking worried about Pikachu. Ash looked

at Pikachu, it wasn't moving. “Pikachu!!!” cried Ash.

Another flash landed Ash back in the cave. “Oh, the pain.” Another flash illuminated the cave.

Ash was looking at Misty, who was holding her wrecked bike. “Take this, loser!” she shouted, hitting him with her bike.

Flash. Ash was in the cave. “It hurts!” screamed a voice in Ash's head. “Get out!” he screamed. Flash.

Visions of Pikachu shocking Ash played through his mind. “Pi-Ka-Chu!!!” shouted Pikachu. “I didn't mean it!” Ash

called into the darkness.

Flash. Back in the cave. The world was spinning around him. “Why can't they leave me alone!” screeched Mewtwo's

voice. Flash.

Ash was in the Pewter City Gym. Brock's Onix was squeezing the life out of Pikachu. Brock just stood there smiling.

Then, Brock broke out in laughter.

Flash. Ash was lying on the ground. “Make it stop!!!” shouted a voice. It sounded more like Ash than Mewtwo.

Flash.

Ash was with Misty and Samurai in a cabin. Samurai's back was to him. “Compared to those other three, novice here

is a joke!” mocked Samurai.

Flash. Ash's head was beginning to hurt. “It is impossible to comprehend the basis for Mewtwo's attacks.” A voice

sounded. Flash.

Ash ran up to his bag to scare a ratatta out of his bag. “Ratatta come out into open fields to steal food from STUPID

travelers.” Dexter mocked.

Flash. “I am not stupid!” Ash cried out. “Not one of you is as great as I am!” Flash.

A vision of Misty and him watching a sunset. “Why can't we be good friends?” Ash asked. Misty shook away from him

and turned her back. “Not even your girlfriend likes you!” taunted the voice in Ash's head. “I will make them pay for how

they've treated me!” screamed Ash.

Flash. Ash was back on his feet, staring at Misty, Brock, and Christine. “Are you okay?” worried Brock. “Silence!”

boomed Ash as he unleashed a wave of psychic power on Brock. “Ash, stop!” pleaded Christine. “Don't stand in my way!”

ordered Ash, hitting her with the same power. “Please Ash, just wake up!” cried Misty. Ash turned and glared at her. His eyes

darkened until his eyes were totally black. “You!!!” howled Ash. He started advancing. “You hate me the most!” “No Ash!”

Misty sobbed. Ash knocked her back into the wall. She sat there crying. “If you don't fight me, I'm going to be incredibly

disappointed.” Laughed Ash. “Misty, run!” shouted Brock. “No.” she said firmly. “If you're going to kill me, then go ahead.

But do it knowing that the girl you killed loves you more than anything in the whole world. I never hurt you before, so I hope this

will be another memory that will haunt you forever.” Suddenly, visions started flashing through his head. The Summer's End

Festival, the dancing, the carnivals, beating the Elite Four, becoming a Pokemon master, defeating Gary, their first kiss, all of the

good times they had shared. Ash's eyes started to water. “Misty…” he cried. “Ash.” She said, hugging him.

“Nooo!!!” screamed Mewtwo, reappearing in the cave. “It can't be!” “You can take back your crummy psychic

gems!” shouted Ash in anger. “And then you can crawl back to the test tube you came from!” “You can never defeat me!”

cackled Mewtwo as he hurled Ash into the wall. “Ash!” called Misty. Suddenly, the cave went dark. Then Sabrina appeared

next to Ash, hovering off of the ground. “Maybe not, be WE can!” she challenged. Ash and Sabrina held hands. Their

combined energy surrounded Mewtwo. “What is this?” Mewtwo laughed, starting to sound a little worried. “Your fate!”

condemned Ash. The power surrounding Mewtwo became a black hole and sucked him in. “Nooo!!!” he shouted as he was

drawn into the great abyss. Suddenly, Mewtwo fired one last bolt of energy at Ash. Ash crumpled to the ground.

Love Is Forever…

“Don't die on us Ash!” shouted Brock. Misty was just crying in the corner. Then, Sabrina put her hands on Ash's temple. She

started to glow. When the glow subsided, Ash slowly opened his eyes. Ash stared up at Sabrina. “You could've been the most

powerful being on Earth.” Said Sabrina. Misty gave Ash a big hug and kiss. When Ash could speak again, he said “Why be the

most powerful man on Earth when I…” he looked at Misty. “…can be the happiest man on Earth.” He finished. Misty's eyes

got watery. “Thank you Ash.” She said.
